at the Med Immo Awards
17.06.08

The Sustainable Development Award went to Groupe em2c on the occasion of the Med Immo exhibition, for the Alma Consulting Group Headquarters.

The jury was chaired by DTZ Director Philippe Venturini, with the following members: Constructa CEO Marc Pietri, La Provence Chief Editor Didier Pillet, ESA Head of Communication in Marseille Geneviève Maupion, and L'Urbain Chief Editor Michel Coartou.

The award highlights the commitment of a design team led by a visionary investor, Arcadie, to taking up the challenging transformation of 14,450 m² standard offices into a Haute Qualité Environnementale development whereas the design stage had already started. The resulting development has been the first office building ever HQE 2006 certified in France as far as the « programme » (Brief) and « conception » (Design) stages are concerned. The building shall be certified in July 2008 as far as the « realisation » (Build) stage is concerned.

The distinction also shows the will of Groupe em2c to remain at the cutting edge, while focusing its Acteur de la Cité strategy on activily fostering Sustainable Development.
